Welcome to all conspiracy neophytes and veterans alike! Please introduce yourself and share a little bit about what draws you to the subject of conspiracy theories.

Precisely because I hate being told by society (the mass media, the "educated") that I am not allowed to consider that there are any conspiracies at all, that there seems to be a programmed knee-jerk response in too many people to alternative views to reject those views and attack the messenger and call him a conspiracy theorist. Finally, the conspiracy theory label is an old trick cooked up by the intelligence agencies in the U.S. to discredit dissent back in the 60's. It really is a sad statement to say that we still fall for this nearly 60 years later. If we are living in a true spirit of democracy, there is no reason why we shouldn't discuss, consider and look into possible conspiracies. In fact, it is one way to be a good responsible citizen, we ought to care about possible sitiations where it may be that people are conspiring to harm the society or communities for their own multitudinous selfish reasons and that those who take an interest in this should be commended, even if they are mistaken, not ostracized, reviled as ignorant, deluded etc.
