I am saying: The USA is not the wolrd, what happens there is not a good predicter of what happens in the rest of the world.

Broad statements like this are disingenuous. The USA is not the world.

Covid: In the USA it became a political football, while in most of the west it was treated as a medical issue.

Gun violence: A pretty uniquely US problem in western nations.

Abortion: A uniquely US issue in western nations.
