I know people on this sub expect juicy stories so I’m prepared for the downvotes..

But was that person really THAT unreasonable? 10 hours of long walks with the dog = less than a month of evening walks with a pupper (would do it voluntarily). If the creek overflows of course she needs it fixed now, who says you need to clean all of it? See if it can be semi fixed now and then when spring comes instead of overflowing and flooding the whole yard you can help fix the whole thing.

I don’t know who texted you and what the relationship between the two of you is. But if someone asked me for help instead of spending cash or presents I’d sign up for it. This exchange by itself is hardly painting the other person in bad light.
