Still waiting for the gpu and the case to arrive. I chose asus for my motherboard and my gpu because my father pretty much only trusts this brand. He has a 15 year old asus motherboard with an Asus 750 and they are still going strong. The ryzen 9 3900x is overkill for me at the moment but I decided to go with it for future university projects that might actually need a good cpu. The rest are a combination of price and looks. I think corsair makes pretty good looking products so I went with them.
