The world is full of different people, some amazing, some awful to the core. You can't change other people. You can accept that this is how it is and find ways to deal with it within reality.

If LBGTs simply handled these situations calmly and maturely, the rest of the world might not have lost every bit of respect and tolerance they once had for you. But when you get hysterical and demanding and start policing strangers' speech, that's when you should be institutionalized. Screaming at strangers in public will never be acceptable human behavior in civilized societies.

When you present yourself to the public as sensitive and weak, people will take advantsge of that. They will further bully you if you express that being bullied hurts you. Don't expect the world to understand you. You can't demand respect, respect is earned. How can you respect someone who does the same thing over and over again expecting different results. Humanity has known for ages that is the definition of insanity.
