My driving instructor bought a new car a week before my first test.

He had an okay typical petrol ford.

Changed it to a brand new diesel BMW, with an auto start function.

I drove it for an hour before the test, and knew already it was going to be a disaster, I couldn't get the biting point, and when I stalled, it just started itself instantly, which I really wasn't ready for as I'd want to kind of go through the motion.

tests starts, went over a single lane bridge, another car pulls onto the bridge whilst I'm on there, I stop, I stall, car starts itself straight away, I stall, car starts itself again, I stall...

Passed second time easy with another driving instructor, in a car I could get used to!
