Well, that is one way to pass the time during a rain delay

I agree /u/davo898 this is /r/Iamverysmart gold here. Here you go kid:

The accident took place Saturday during a grueling 15-jump obstacle course competition with his 7-year-old gelding, Eastern Express.

Monk Reynolds, owner of the Commonwealth Park Equestrian Center, where Reeves had the accident, told The Washington Post Reeve was approaching a triple bar jump about 31/2 feet high when "he came up a little too hard, and the horse didn't find the right spot to make the jump."

Reeve's horse jolted to a stop, causing Reeve to "roll up the horse's neck and fall on his head on the other side of the jump."

Paramedics responded immediately and found Reeve unconscious and not breathing. They gave him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and he regained consciousness in the ambulance.

The star, an experienced rider who owns several horses and competes regularly in equestrian events, was wearing a helmet at the time.

His athletic, 6-foot-4 frame and love of adventure made him a natural, if largely unknown, choice for the title role in the first "Superman" movie in 1978. He insisted on performing his own stunts.
