I have mixed feelings about this stuff. I do feel its odd and depending on the situation could be offensive to some, but...

My problem is I don’t know the real backstory. Questions I have are:

1-Are they religious? 2-And did they marry then or just start dating? 3-Maybe they abstained from any physical connection until they were married? (Some sort of emotional/spiritual connection until engagement ending and then marriage ceremony. There are lots of strictly religious and moral folk who adhere to their particular faiths rules) 4-Maybe the female partner is happy and that it was her choice and she was mature enough to make it?

Lastly I fear to judge this situation without input from the couple and especially the female. I know my male protective instincts scream to protect her, but from what?

If she is happy and they are happy together and nothing illegal actually happened, then this seems like Slut-Shaming.

Until she comes out with complaints it looks like a harmful and judgmental witch-hunt.
