I went to a grocery store for a couple of things after work at 11 pm. I get in line of the only open register and see a group of young women with SEVEN full carts of food just starting to check out. $1,400 worth of food. Longest wait ever.

There was a group of 5 or 6 young women ranging from one being late teenager to most being mid to late 20s. There was also a ~6 year old kid.

The carts were completely full. It seemed like a range of food. It wasn't just someone stocking up on a single type of thing.

As I'm waiting I hear one of them on the phone calling around to find people to bring another car or two because they need more vehicles to transport everything. Which makes me wonder if they came in planning to get all this, and why they didn't have transportation already arranged, or if it was spur of the moment and thus fucking why.

I started to expect some of them to just run out of the store with a full bagged cart instead of paying. I've never seen anything like it. I should have asked someone what everything was for.
