We're already far beyond 1984. Even here few understand, and perhaps none of us completely.

This also if you're working in trades this shit is gonna be easier for you so I recommend learning a trade or working in trades e.g. welding, carpentry, HVAC, or electrical. Plus by association, you can employ other tradesmen to evaluate your work if not outright build your home.

I'm not particularly savvy at things some things but now that I've learned to weld to some extent it'll be easy for me to cut and tack up a house with shipping containers and support it with some basic carpentry (which I've learned in my youth.) The only things I'm going to need to employ for are moving it (and it seems moving it comes as free service with some of the companies you buy shipping containers from) and the electric. Insulation and everything else isn't really an issue as I've learned some of this stuff from my father and there are literally video guides on this shit. The rest I can pretty much handle if I buy some professional tools for milling with a chainsaw and so forth.
