My mom was textbook ocd, bipolar narcissist. Parents got divorced and was so happy to get away from her.

Years later, pops and I have business and give mom change to work. Well, she just wanted (or expected) a handout without having to actually work. So, after years of her bullshit, I had enough and it felt really good to fire her.

Then, she would visit to see grandkids and yell at them for being in the way of the tv or just be a total self-centered bitch, so much so that I told her she was never allowed at my house again.

Sometimes our patents do a number on us as kids and throughout our adulthood, but it’s never too late to cut them out of our life. It was hard at the time, but I have no regrets kicking her out of my life, even after she died, because my life was so much better without her in it.
