We're in a golden age of MH

I am honest with myself; tempered lavasioth 3:55, tempered kirin 2:50, tempered teo is 3:32, tempered kushala is 4:55, tempered vaal is 4:31, tempered nergi is 3:50. I'm not a hardcore speedrunner; these are times I obtained while crown farming. Which I finished up very recently at the ~280 hour mark with the rotten vale event quest.

With weapons I hadn't used as much of (bow main), the times are still sub 10 on my first hunts with them (even in the above mentioned fights), and others are approaching 5/ have reached sub 5. And no single other weapon is over 20 uses.

Objectively, the improvements from 4th/5th to world is astonishing. But the fact is, you have little reason to slap evasion onto your set. You barely need a reason to even use a mantle on mhworld for that matter. I like destroying monsters myself, but if I don't even need to press my evade button in most cases, I'm not really hunting anymore so much as I am murdering. Which MHWorld does allow.

I'm happy you do think it's a golden age though. I'm happy for everyone who feels that. I've seen what happens past golden ages already on various games/MMOs though, and for as good as MHWorld is, it shows signs of potential bad already. Not nearly as obvious as said previous games, but the hints are there. This is in relation to what others say golden ages are, not just my own. I sincerely hope I'm 100% wrong.
