We're on the road and I want to hear stories

Im game.

At first it was me and my wife. We were shacked up in our apartment and I could hear the hiss of canisters and the screams of thousands of people. We sat their for days, Burning through our food and watching what ever DVD's we had. It was great, for a while. When the screams and the car horns stopped We looked outside. The city I was in, Dublin, Was in Ruins. I could hear crying and the sound of tearing flesh. and in the distance their was a green haze.It seemed to be approaching. We walked out the door into the foyer of the apartment complex. I checked my phone for the first time in 3 weeks to find many missed calls from my friend Jack.

Jack was always paranoid about the apocalypse. A real Anti-Gov nut. But he was prepared for anything like this happening. I called him. When he answered he sounded relieved as far as I can remember the conversation went a little like this.

"Greg, Holy shit man, I thought you were dead!"

"Me too, I mean, Shit...I thought YOU were dead. Where the fuck is everyone!"

"Dead, Dying or long gone"

"What?....Whats going on...we were just told to stay in doors"

"Zombies man, Zeds, Zacks, The UNDEAD"

"Your crazy!"

"Look, Just stay where you are, Ill come get you"

And sure enough, He came in this black truck about 45 minutes later. When we got in I noticed my other friends were their. They handed us Gas-Masks connected to oxygen chambers and greeted us.

"Whats with the masks?" "The gas, It'll kill you." "What gas?" "You'll see."

And we did. We spent days going around looting shopping centers for food and water, Dave, My other friend, taught us how to weapons, this were good.

But we were on a motorway heading down to cork . The sun was shining, not a cloud in the sky. As we traveled southward the green fog got heavier and heavier and then suddenly.

BOOM

A mine on the motorway set by some long dead soldier in an attempt to stop the horde. We ran over it..... The fog it swept in...My friends...,My wife....

They all perished pretty quickly and my wife died in my arms. It didnt have such an affect on me and when I got our supplies from our truck and dragged their body's up a hill and buried them...I was ready to survive.

From that point its history.
