I feel like this entire controversy was really backwards. Nobody even remembers what happened to Adam and the OwlCityIsOverParty thing. The thing is political movements come and go, people will find new things to freak out about and pay attention to, “slacktivism” will continue to be a danger.

I know like a majority of this sub is Christian and probably more conservative leaning. But in my own ire I am not either of those things. I am completely in the center to absolutely no political opinion. But reading this from face value, it’s a REALLY dumb situation and all it did was punish the rest of us when Adam went recluse. By all means I am not mad at him for doing that, I would too if I was in his shoes! But a couple of non-fans had to make it worse for the rest of us.
