West Sacramento Mom Puts Up 'This Neighborhood Is Full Of Karens' Sign After Neighbors Complain About Noise

This was within a few months of the neighbor making life hell with the property line and trees stuff. The tone of the conversation, as presented by my parents, was essentially that she said she would do the same over the dog.

And to clarify she is a cynophile (dog lover) who has a dozen dogs in and out of her front yard on a daily basis. She had already established she will go through insane measures to get her way.

So the threat to get county code enforcement and cops involved unless we gave her the dog was a very real threat. Considering she supposedly has a great reputation with the local cops, the inferred threat of misrepresenting reality to them held weight, because word vs word she'd win.

I was what, 12 at the time IIRC, and I knew it was insanely unfair. It was summer break so me and my 3 siblings at the time had spent practically every day with the dog. There was no neglect or abuse involved.

My parents were so scarred they basically swore to never get a dog again. The only reason this changed was when a family friend had to get rid of their dog because their new child was allergic we stepped up to the plate. Their other children were attached to it so us taking care of it let them see it occasionally.
