I'm from a small tropical paradise called Goa which is in India and it's our birth right to either choose an Indian nationality or a Portuguese one. The simple criteria to have a Portuguese passport is that your family has to be registered goans from before the year 1961.
About the "preferred westerners" , I just think it's a white supremacy thing as Indians really run a lot of the biggest global corporations and are real Giants in the IT world. So you can't run down a race according to a demographic or colour or lifestyle.
I've recently attended an interview where I saw the white man getting an advantage because of being white despite me having superior skills and the ability to speak different languages.
I maybe right or I maybe wrong. Correct me if I am.
