WestJet staff @ YVR, understandably, getting straight to the point

I did this as a summer job for Air Canada a number of years ago. Looks like they're still actively hiring: link. If you're billingual in English and French you're basically guaranteed to get a job after finishing a language test.

It's a union job so you have some benefits and scheduled raises from the (pretty low) base pay, and good travel benefits (very low cost travel on standby to anywhere that Air Canada flies; most people working there take international trips regularly, or can go for a weekend away very easily at off-peak times).

However, for the first few years you'll be low in seniority and the schedules will suck (e.g. starting your shift at YVR at 3:30am). And you'll have to deal with the travelling public which is... an experience, especially on days like the last few days, which happen every so often. It definitely is unique and not the worst entry-level job though.
