If you want to build a mine in France you don’t go get permission from Belgium. At the end of the day, the people who live on and use the land , don’t want a pipeline running thru it and that should be the end of the story .

Run the pipeline around, yes it will cost more, too bad. As an average citizen I stand to gain nothing by some company selling LNG to Asia , and I would tend to support the people who have a legal precedent on their side who don’t want it on their land
