WH Trade Adviser Navarro: American Companies Quickly Mobilizing To Fight Coronavirus In Wartime Manner

Makes sense that private industry would move in this way. Certainly better than having government do it.

Seems much like what happened here in the South after hurricanes started slamming into the coast regularly again after a 20-year hiatus. Now, companies know to send shitloads of water, batteries, flashlights, etc. to stores here; the power companies know they need to contract with other power companies to have hundreds of trucks at the ready when the power goes out (in the North, too after ice storms and whatnot); and gasoline is stored or at least ready to be trucked here...

So, businesses will just know from now on that it's coronavirus "season" or whatever it turns out to be, and people want TP, water, sanitizer and data capacity. Smart companies will have that shit ready en masse.
