What do you think about the poll that says 37% of Americans think the U.S. had a better Covid 19 response than Canada?

Truly baffling, and it disgusts me that people are that dug in with their politics that they can't see the reality in front of them.

As of right now hundreds of thousands of Americans are dead because of Trump's response to this, and yes, I lay a lot of the responsibility of the response on him. He's the leader of this country, democrats republicans doesn't matter with the petty bullshit people will use to excuse his behavior. If Obama or Biden did the same shit I would have been just as pissed too. He didn't prepare when other countries overseas were dealing with it and giving solid indications of what it would be like, treated it like a joke, and didn't listen to any of his advisors like Dr. Fauci. The only thing we could do was on the state level at that point, and even then he played states against each other depending on which ones were supporting him. He should have been uniting the country with a solid plan but instead he poured fuel on the flames. I usually go every summer to see my family in Canada but not this time, and its all because of the fucked up politics here. Canada is starting to open up again while we're still dealing with community spread and a paralyzed federal government that's too busy with partisan talking points.

Canadian government > American government in terms of who handled it better and its not even close.
