What do you think about the slow progression between our COVID Phases?

I didnt say that just because crowded trains are a thing, then all restrictions should therefore be lifted.

Nor did I even remotely mention clubbing or mass gatherings.

I'm talking about a slight relaxation of the rules - 5 people to 6,7,8, or opening up for more sports, etc.

Using the crowded trains example - what I mean is that thousands of commuters do not socially distance every day, yet we have managed to reach only 1 community transmission a day. If people aren't getting COVID while crowding onto trains, I don't see how there's no room for some small relaxations here and there. The "feasibility" of social distancing in trains is completely irrelevant.

Similarly, CCAs in secondary schools and JCs have resumed for a while now - but people outside still aren't (technically) allowed to play basketball? (I say technically because we all know our neighbourhood basketball courts are filled with players every night despite the rule of 5)

Again, I am not thinking in binary - it's actually the opposite. I'm looking for somewhere in between Phase 2 and 3 (you can see it as a 2.5 if you will). There's a lot to consider but I am not convinced that increasing the group limit from 5 to 6 tomorrow will result in any change in the rate of transmissions. So why keep it to 5?
