What do you absolutely not put up with?

My "horror" story:

I have a micro manager as a boss who must be involved in anything. The most recent thing he did was meddling with our development process for frontend stuff that I introduced a few months ago. A process so easy that every designer and trainee can understand and follow with ease. It's by no means up to standard and no magic at all but babysteps are necessary for progress at all. The issue here is, he can't get fully onboard with things he does not understand and he likes to argue just to argue.

One weekend he's trying new things and creates basically his own development process for the styling part. Brings it into the office and says to everyone at impromptu 1-on-1 meetings "look how cool this is" and how we will be using it more in the future.
I mean, debatable usefulness aside, he could have easily integrated his process in the existing one and we could discuss/work out the kinks and issues. But he put it besides our existing process and then even starts arguing "we won't need the overhead for the rest anymore".

He seriously went over my head in modernizing our frontend development workflow, a job that's not his, quite frankly. Undermining my efforts and achievements with his process and now openly suggests to dismantle my process that works for everyone, including him... but alas, it's not his process and he likes to project/force his way of working onto others.
My first suggestion to bare-bone insert it into the existing process was met with "not in this project, we do that in the next one". Jokes on me, I guess, as the current project is supposed to be the boilerplate for all the next ones.

Sometimes I wonder, why I even put up with it. The pure comfort of my employment shouldn't be enough reason.
