So. What have you achieved since the new year? How many have kept their new year's resolutions?

Not to be a downer, but I got through what was, far in a way the hardest time of my life. Won't bore you with the story but some people are crazy: the type of person that sees you're anxious and stressing and instead of letting you know they get their entire family to kick you while you're down and treat you like a serial killer. It never occurred to me the person just wasn't "all there", so to speak. And so instead of brushing it off I felt like really creep for months. The situation had me so stressed out I had a resting heartbeat of 108! And that was on a Saturday afternoon, when I was at my most relaxed.

Anyway, it's something I wouldn't wish on anybody... Well apart from the other person anyway. So I tried to be mature about it and tried to get things out in the open - because at this point basically everyone I knew could see my health was suffering. So I had to talk to the police, thankfully since I'm not off my rocker they reassured me I had done nothing wrong and it was clear to them the other person was paranoid and 'obviously has problems she's not willing to deal with'.

My semester of Uni is nearly done now and I'm taking a year out to avoid said person. All of my other friends have been super-wonderful and supportive about it - I've become better friends with them because of it :)

It's nice to feel myself again for, what had been going on for 8 months there! It was terrible but I learned a lot from it and I feel like a better person for it. Makes me appreciate mundanity! It's nice to be able to just be bored.

So I guess my resolution was to be happy! And I feel like I've fulfilled that now. Hopefully I didn't turn into "mopey story time guy" too much there but I've wanted to share that for a while - an extremely shortened version anyway :P

Hope the rest of yous are having a good day! :)
