What activity greatly improved your confidence?

Not sure if anyone has responded with this but my particular advice is if you don't feel like working out, it's fine, but the deal is you have to show up at the gym anyways and get your gym gear on. Even if you have no plan or goals and don't feel like making them, doesnt matter. Just show up and sit there and watch TV on the easiest bike setting. Sure you have some shitty workouts and that's OK. What you want to do is form the habit of getting there when you plan on it. If working out is the last thing on your mind than don't do it. Chances are though once you're there you will get motivated to work out ..I've never not had at least a decent workout at a gym even when I was 100% sure I wouldn't do it. Once you're there just doing the odd thing can snowball into doing just one more ..And just one more.. eventually that habit of showing up to the gym becomes a habit to workout when you're at the gym ..Don't get too hung up on workout plans and trying to do 5x5 of this or that if you're struggling ..Trying to plan an entire routine can feel overwhelming.
