What advice would you give to a meat eater looking to try vegetarianism

I preach for not putting too much thought and staying determined. Some stuff is straight gross, some is amazing. It takes time to find what you like and sometimes you might hit a streak of 3 recipes that were gross. Stay with it and find that magic. Vegetarianism is just cutting animal flesh out of your diet. Easy! Hang around here and you'll find something. Here is this and this (use something like seitan, tofu or tempeh instead of beef, I added peanuts at the end) to get you started.

I havent found "taste like meat" subsitutes but I've found the vegetarian stuff to be new and exciting enough to not need to rely on meat. Tempeh is pretty good. Just tried veg hot dogs and they went down better than beef ones, made a sandwhich with a bunch of veggies, some cheese & sliced boiled eggs that was divine. I just dont miss it most days. I am flex because I still actively hunt deer and rabbits.
