What have you always wanted to say or ask gun owners?

Yes but you don't need to qualify for marksmanship, like you do when you get a license. Gun ownership doesn't require you to have an insurance policy against causing harm to others, like car ownership does.

Not true. I need a license and insurance if I'm driving on public roads. If I am on a private track, I don't need a license to drive or insurance. You can own a car that is not even street legal without a license or insurance. So long as you're not using it on public roads you don't need a license or insurance.

If I carry a gun in public I need a license and pass a class.

How can you be against psychological screening? What if it was overseen by the NRA and a Psychiatric board. That way your standard rethoric of "I need a gun to protect my family," isn't classified as a psychological disorder.

Because everyone "has something" these days and our government doesn't handle the privacy out it's citizens well. I should not have to submit to such an invasion of privacy to exercise my rights.

You realize that people who are deemed unfit to fly on a plane, are still allowed to buy a gun. What they're saying is gun ownership is less demanding than sitting still in a seat on an airplane.

That's not true. Question 2 on the federal 4473 asks "Are you under indictment in any court for a felony".

If you are out on bail for a felony you can't but a gun, the judge doesn't have to deem you a flight risk. Just being under indictment will be enough to prevent you from passing the background check.
