What do Americans think of other countries co-opting their history and its consequent politics?

Well, it makes sense to me, but then I know Americans see directness as a positive quality. Not quite the same view of it had here, I would say. I'll try to adapt.

American Style social politics to me would describe your nation's paritcular fixation with matters of identity, privilege and such, especially as pertains to your nation's troubled history.

Okay, so for example, we now have people touting BLM banners and such, doing protests, despite us not having the very issue that prompted the conjuring of the movement in your nation. Does that suffice? It's only an example.

No, I abhor your media. No. I simply fear its influence on our children and teenagers.

Well, I think its fair to say your nation is a world away from the Brits that began the venture. Keep in mind, those Brits were already seen as extremist idealists when they left here, so the fact your nation is now a world or so away from even them, should make clear the desperate gorge between the nations and cultures.
