What an absolute bellend...

If any some new rider jumps on a 1k sport bike as their first bike and rides like a jackass, that's on them. It shouldn't restrict the sensible folk who don't ride like a ding ass. Many people start on 600s and up and have no issues because they are careful.

I personally started on a Daytona 675 with no rider assists. I put 5,000 miles down after completing basic rider and advanced riders training and had no issues at all. I didn't know a lick about it, not even how to get through gears and whatnot.

Long story short; it is fully possible to be a new rider on an R6 or R1 (or equiv.) and not ride like an idiot. Government should not be needlessly involved in regulating what they believe to be "too much bike"
