What is an unexplainable memory from your childhood?

There is this one freeway overpass that we used to go under a lot when our mom was driving us around. Once you went under the overpass, you could see a small hill and then the road turned.

One day when we were 6 & 4, my brother and I both saw a clown sitting on the hill juggling when we went under the overpass. We started laughing and clapping (we were too young to know clowns are “scary” apparently lol) and our mom was like “what???” We said we saw a clown. She was like “WTF!?!” She didn’t see the clown. But the juggling clown was seriously smack dab in the middle of the view you’d see when driving. I mean you seriously couldn’t miss it. Our mom swore up and down that there was no clown and we were just messing around.

But we BOTH saw the clown! At the same moment!! And we both reacted to the clown in real time, without saying anything. No, we can’t possibly explain why there would have been a clown just randomly sitting on that hill juggling, but there totally was one. We both still remember it TO THIS DAY, and the only reason it stuck in our heads so much was because it was so bizarre, and because our mom didn’t see it. (Again I know it sounds normal, like she was distracted by driving, but I can’t emphasize enough you couldn’t have possibly missed the bright red and orange juggling clown right there at perfect eye level in front of your windshield!!!)
