What is an unfrugal thing you see people doing all the time that drives you crazy? (asking in hopes of avoiding these pitfalls)

No, it's not weird to do what you want in your spare time. But it's not exactly frugal to spend most of your paycheck on things you don't necessarily need, like say for instance like traveling.

I have some friends that work for Delta that get to fly for free with that being said, the flights are only covered, accommodation needs to come out of their pocket. Why spend that time traveling and paying heaps of money for accommodation when you can save that money and spend it later on when you have a cushion for leverage?

No one needs to travel, it's more of a want than it is a need (imo, I've done some extensive traveling myself but that's because my parents were in the oil business so growing up, I got to see the world). Nonetheless, I just don't see the need to do something just because you can, there's nothing wrong with putting money aside to do those things later on. Why blow a weekly paycheck on weekend accommodation just because you can fly for free? I just don't see the immediacy on doing what you want just because you can. Self-restraint goes a long way, especially when it comes to finances.
