What are the actual laws regarding dogs in stores and restaurants?

If I pass you on the street while you are walking your dog, I will probably ignore you while I smile and wave at your dog.

I think most people who do this are inadequately valuing humans, perhaps just a little self-conscious or overly polite, not wanting to be confrontation by too directly acknowledging strangers -- moreso than just loving dogs all that much.

I see people who really overwhelmingly love dogs often using it as a bit of a crutch for their anxiety more directly connecting with other people. Humans are intimidating, dogs are easy and nonjudgmental.

Like the anxious loner who sits in the corner and pets the dog at the party. It's not just loving the dogs. Most people love dogs. There's danger in being too proud of this behavior, as you should consider more directly engaging with and wanting to connect with the people around you, cultivate love and oneness.
