What are the best Countries/Cities to live in (Long-term/Permanent) 2018?

Tons of people are moving to where I live, Atlanta. I hate it, but that’s because I’ve been here my whole life. The economy is good, housing is so cheap, crime isn’t bad if you stay in the right parts of the city, and it’s reasonably close to the Appalachian mountains (2 hour drive). The city itself has a lot of diverse groups- some areas have large asian populations, there’s a large african american population, and there’s a decent hispanic population in some areas as well. I felt like where I grew up was decently diverse, and I grew up in a fringe suburb waaaaaay outside of the city. The south definitely has its disadvantages though- the politics suck (imo anyway) and the weather can be horrid. The summers here are absolutely disgusting (hot and humid), but the winters are okay. A little too warm for me, but okay.
