What are the best non-2017 games you played in 2017?

for whatever reason a few months ago i got bored of my PS4, booted up my PS2 and the only game i hadn't squeezed the life out of in the two generations since was that shitty Punisher game from the Saints Row devs, with Thomas Jane voicing it. i didn't like it all that much until i realised i'd put in like 20 hours in about 3 sittings and couldn't stop playing. something about PS2-era ragdoll physics is just so charming. the graphics are shocking, the random pre-MCU cameos are bizarre, but seeing Nick Fury watch you dunk someone's head in molten steel and zoom in on the final result isn't something you see these days.

Bloodborne too, but what's the point in singing that game's praises anymore. it's good and you should play it.
