What are the differences between student life at SJSU and SCU?

I went to both! SJSU for undergrad and SCU for post. SCU definitely gave me more time when it came to paperwork and financial aid matters whenever i needed help. SJSU gave me more of a runaround and I felt like I had to figure things out myself most of the time.

I had more fun at SJSU since I was trying to have the college experience (well best I could at a commuter school) but SCU I was more focused on my studies and trying to get out of their quick. Since my classes at SCU were more focused on what I wanted to do, I felt the professors were more knowledgeable. But I still had some good SJSU professors. I even took classes at SJC to finish undergrad quicker and those professors were also good, so there’s good and bad professors everywhere .

More things to do at SJSU and the surroundings since it’s in the middle of downtown, but I definitely felt safer at SCU.

Price point I’d say SCU was more expensive since my post grad program was a bit more than one year and it was like 18K. Also, remember it’s a Jesuit university so sometimes I felt they tried to make that influence ... but very very little.
