I’m not a fan of the cures cancer narrative that people like, it’s puts it on an undeserved pedestal.

Anecdotally, the people I know who went to HS were very efficient and effective, mission driven, and not afraid to take some risks likely due to confidence. I think the efficiency is what I noticed first about them when working together. For example Because of their focus, they could spend half the time studying for the GMAT and achieve a better score. They can now to devote that time to other Productive areas. This compounds and over time they end up with a significantly better profile. Someone at HS can probably speak to this better but this is just what I noticed from my peers who ended up there.
