What are favorite/least favorite things about each game?

Silent Hill 1: (I haven't played this through since 6th grade, so).

Like: The opening sequence in the alley was the first time I ever felt my blood run cold from fear. Coming from the jump scares of Resident Evil, it left an impact.

Dislike: Anything that flies, especially with the tank controls. Also, I was too young to understand what the hell was going on most of the time.

Silent Hill 2 - - - - - - - - - - -

Likes: The characters. Especially Angela, whose story is a complete tragedy. I can replay it every few years, and always view it in a different light the more I mature. It is a really adult game, that tackles very adult themes, and it grows with you in a way. The only other game that I can say that has this effect is Shadow of the Colossus.

Dislikes: It gets a little repetitive. No matter how many times I play it I still get lost.

Silent Hill 3 - - - - - - - - - - -

Likes: Everything. That's pretty much it. I love this game.

Dislikes: Almost threw my PS2 out the window.

Silent Hill 4 - - - - - - - - - - -

Likes: The vibe, and art direction of this game is excellent. I'm so in love with the idea of waking up and seeing chains on your door from inside, preventing you from leaving. I also loved going down that endless escalator.

Dislikes: Those fucking ghosts. And backtracking. Gameplay was meh. I also hated going up that endless fucking elevator.

Zero - - - - - - - - - - -

I played this when I had the flu and was taking a bunch of cough medicine. I don't want to talk about it.

Homecoming - - - - - - - - - - -

Likes: I never understood the hate. I thought it was great. Scarlet was awesome.

Dislikes: It was a little cheesy. It was too 'clean' looking. Silent Hill needs that grain.

Downpour - - - - - - - - - - -

Likes: Great game.

Dislikes: Terrible "Silent Hill" game.
