Disrespect me - now i understand this is a complex issue as respect means different things for different people and there are multiple degrees of disrespect and implications.

What I am referring to here is i guess not that significant however it still pisses me off in a major way...its when a person does not respect my autonomy or capacity to make decisions - especially ones that only effect me. Prime example. Got myself a new flatmate recently. We got along well - he needed a place to stay. I have a spare room and can do with the extra money re life expenses mortgage. Second night he stays here we having a few drinks and chatting. He was sitting on sofa, i was standing up talking rather animates. He looks at me and told me I should be sitting down. I kind of look at him back and tell him i am standing up because I want to be standing up. Then i and ask him why he would say this? He responded that he thought i forgot to sit down.

Such a small thing, yet such a red flag in my eyes. It changed the dynamic completely. I noticed a few more of these odd/off comments, then small actions and texts coming across as complete lack of respect towards me. This was was a few weeks ago. He will be moving out by the end of the week.
