My favorite highly anticipated moment’s not going to be happening “til the second part comes out, and it’s Paul’s reunion with Gurney. What I’m hoping forum the first half is a really worthy last-stand death scene for Duncan, where we see him putting in work as he slices and dices 19 Sardaukar to cover Paul and Jessica’s escape, taking out almost a score of the universe’s most feared battle troops gangster-style before he dies.

Really looking forward to Paul meeting Chani after he’s clambered up the rocks in Tuono Basin, and would love to see him drift into a moment of superimposed hallucinogenic recollection. I think Timothee and Zendaya are going to have a real level of chemistry, so I’m looking forward to the scene where Paul becomes unstuck in time after consuming the Watt of Life that Jessica converted, and Chani is committed to keeping him stabilized.

So the closer we get to the premiere date, the more my bellybutton’s going to be puckering and unpuckering in anticipation. The suspense is terrible, and I hope it lasts.
