What are you in the mood to get in an argument about?

In August I quit my job as a teller at a bank, my last paycheck was missing three days pay. Shortly after discovering that I was sent a letter saying the pay period prior to my last I was overpaid $84 and I had to send them a cheque. I called the HR number they gave me and spent an hour on the phone with the agent, we went over the hours I worked and determined that I didn't owe the $84 and was supposed to be paid for those three days. I was told they would investigate and call me back.

I just heard back from them that they pulled my timesheets and my pay was right and I still owe them $84. I asked how that was possible and they said they strictly go by the timesheets. The frustrating part about that is when I left on my last day I checked my timesheets and they were correct and approved. I can't access or look at them anymore because you have to be on a bank computer on their network.

I explained how I had spoken to the previous agent and gave her my schedule. I even suggested they pull my tellers journal for the three days I said I had worked as proof I was there and working. They said that my manager had changed my timesheets to reflect the schedule after I had left and if I wanted it fixed I had to call her and get her to call them and confirm the shifts. I asked to escalate it as I didn't feel like I needed to do all the work here but they refused.

So now I worked for three days for free and I have to pay them $84 back that I earned and didn't get overpaid....
