Root Letter. Finished my first ending (I got the "Cursed Letter Ending"), and [holy shit it was something else. It was shocking when everyone started to just "die" like that as if they were in Final Destination or something. It was also a slap to the face (to me) when it was revealed that the protagonist shouldn't have tried to find out about the whole "letter ritual" thing. The downside is that everything happened so fast so I couldn't really "care" about the characters dying, and even laughed at how everyone got stupid after being told how to (probably) stop the curse. For example, when Betsie is about to fall from a cliff, she still tries to kill the protagonist who is attempting to save her, which leads to him letting her fall and to her death.]

I wouldn't say that the visual novel is "a must read before you die" one (there are obviously better ones out there), but it has its charm (at least to me) and I'm really enjoying it so far. My only complaint is that the endings (at least the one I completed) felt too short in my opinion.
