That wasn't enough. I guess I really don't like Ebi-Hime's style of writing, which is so desperately self-conscious, repetitive and high school creative writing class-y. At least it wasn't in Ye Olde Fashionedy like some of their VNs, but it was so entirely unlike even a precocious little girl--and I was a precocious little girl--that in the end I made it to a bad end and gave up in relief.

Rie is meant to speak in a manner that's far, far more mature and advanced than a normal child because it's a comedy VN. The fact she uses a lot of long words and references concepts/ideas a nine-year-old would never know was a deliberate choice because I wanted the story to be silly and unbelievable. Licia, by the contrast, is meant to speak more like a real nine-year-old would, to make Rie's strange-ness stand out even more.
I know some people might not enjoy reading text like this, but I enjoyed writing it. At least I had a lot of fun :x
