Your lines of thought there are, what I feel, to be the correct lines of thought to have when trying to understand SubaHibi. So I'll just give you my detailed 'answer' for the whole story, which might be able to clear up your remaining questions.
Layer #1: My 'ultimate idea' of SubaHibi has two layers to it, and I'll have to present it starting with 'layer one' before delivering the whole idea (not to denote that this makes SubaHibi convoluted, but properly explaining this idea to others requires a lot of detail).
