What are the sins of r/fantasy?

I think a lot of these discussions are started by people who aren't regulars here. Like, if you've been looking at this sub a lot, certain recommendations and complaints have become so common that they're almost memes.

But there are a lot of pissed off Rothfuss/GRRM fans who don't bother interacting with internet communities a lot, so the topic is new to them and they want to bring it back. Same as recommending Mistborn or Malazan in every day, it's not people who know the recommendation is almost a meme at this point, it's people who like those series a lot and aren't on /r/fantasy enough to be aware that people are tired of hearing it.

My point is that they aren't trying to beat a dead horse. I think the most likely scenario is that the discussion isn't overdone to them, so to them they're just talking about the situation regarding books they care about.
