What are some arguments both against and for anti-civ anarchism?

I don't know how that makes it ableist, the fact that someone who has a disability is going to have a harder time is simply a fact of life.

That is literally what makes it ableist. You treat the fact that disabled people are going to have to suffer more than non-disabled people as “simply a fact of life” rather than something we can do something about. It's designing society around the needs of non-disabled people, and disabled people are an afterthought. What is that if not ableist?

no longer have access to hormone therapy and the like.

Yes, that's exactly why: as I said, designing society around the needs of cis people, with trans people as an afterthought, is literally ciscentrism.

the privilege of a few.

The privilege? Fucking hell.

Anti-civs would like to keep as many technologies as we can

Except how will you do that? You want to scrap civilization but keep all of its benefits, but how? How are you not aware that these things require the infrastructure of civilization to produce?

You are aware that anti-civ can more or less be boiled down to mass decentralization?

And how's that going to work out? The technology you claim you want to keep requires centralization to produce.

Most technology does not require centralization

This is literally the exact opposite of truth. Do you have any idea of the historical development of technology?

I mean, socialists argue quite often about the ways in which capitalism stifles innovation (I will assume you are one of these people).

Well, you could always ask my opinions instead of assuming them. (I would not say that capitalism stifles innovation, but rather directs it for particular ends. Plenty of innovation has occurred due to capitalism, it's just not always put to the best use.)

What will stay depends on what people wish to maintain

What people wish and what people are able, without the infrastructure of civilization, will likely be very different things.

This is why I think it's a fantasy of a privileged few: you've simply decided that “civilization” is unnecessary without understanding how technology is dependent on it and how many people, particularly marginalized people, depend on that technology. You've come up with a society based on the needs of people who are a privileged minority.

Obviously I don't believe that modern society is perfect, or I wouldn't be a socialist. I just think the solution is to fix it, not to abandon it while expecting to retain its benefits.
