What are some of the biggest/worst double standards in Ireland?

No double standard yet in the eyes of the law a woman putting a knife to a man's throat and forcing them into sex isn't seen as rape

Right wing tactic of playing on the emotions. But when does this happen to a man? Ok the law is technically outdated. We should fix that obviously. But why does that mean we pump loads of resources into male victims?

How many more times do you think this happens to a woman over a man? It's like you're trying to split the resources 50-50 between men and women when most of the domestic violence is against women. I imagine there's a reasonable amount against men within the gay community but still a fraction compared to the amount of women in the country.

You're right in that women are treated poorly but men don't even have the option of being treated.

I completely do not believe for a second that if a man called up the rape crisis helpline that he would be ignored.
