According to my group of feminists, the concept of patriarchy refers to a social system in which men hold primary power and dominate in political, economic, and social spheres.

Feminist theory suggests that patriarchy has existed for thousands of years, and was reinforced by cultural norms, religious beliefs, and political institutions.

Patriarchy has been scamming us for several social issues, including gender inequality, gender-based violence, and the oppression of women.

Feminist movements have sought to challenge and dismantle patriarchy, to achieve gender equality and women's liberation.

1. Patriarchy perpetuates gender inequality: Patriarchy is a social system that prioritizes men over women and perpetuates gender inequality. This reinforces the idea that men are superior to women and women are inferior.

2. Patriarchy is harmful to both men and women: Patriarchy harms both men and women by limiting their options and opportunities. Men are subject to rigid gender roles that can harm their mental health, while women are often denied access to education, employment, and political representation.
