The brightest and purest light, that is impossible for me to imagine, brighter than the sun. If you stare into the sun for a while you will go blind. This light is like that, but on several different levels. If you look directly at it, it won't just blind your physical eyes, there's this holiness to it that is so impossibly pure that your very soul would cease to be if you looked into it directly.

Yet, that light is Christ, and somehow, one final and eternal miracle -- you're able to look directly into this light, and you can look upon Christ in His purest form, and the boundary between you and Christ sort of disappears, and your eternity is spent being shot through with Christ and you know your loved ones are standing next to you but it doesn't even occur to you to look at them, because Christ is right there in front of you and well, you don't ever look away because you never form the thought to look elsewhere. I don't speak because I don't have words that do this sight justice, and the longer I look the more impossible it is for my nature to look away, and it goes on like that forever. And yet the singing and the music. And I'm pure and clean, finally.

What I want is not heaven, and what I want is not deliverance from hell. What I want is Christ, and nothing less than having Christ would ever be acceptable. In fact, heavenly paradise without Christ would be as unbearable as hell's worst fires.

Christ is light, that's heaven.
