What are some differences European countries have that are different from the US?

I meant it literally.

This topic is kind of hard for me to articulate well. I understand it, but it's hard to explain properly to someone who doesn't. It's kind of how Americans judge each other and how they feel about themselves. There's nothing more impressive to an American than a hard working (wo)man. Of course people want to have a life besides their work, but if you're having too much life and not enough work then you're not really a respectable person in the eyes of a lot of Americans. No one is cheering that hedge fund manager who takes multiple vacations every year, but they do cheer for that man working 50 hours a week at the factory to take care of his wife and kids. That's something to admire and be prideful of.
