What are some double standards in Survivor fan communities that you don't like?

By this comment, it appears you don't fully understand it. What Varner did was horrible, but outing someone is a lot more than revealing personal information. Varner outing Zeke will have consequences on him for the rest of his life. Trans people still face a lot of prejudice and oppression. Being outed can affect how people see you and treat you in the work place and in public. It means he becomes a target for verbal assault and violence in certain areas and where these areas are isn't clear so there is always a concern for whether or not you are safe. I'm not even explaining how it feels to be outed well, because it is probably worse than what these few sentences make it sound like. Coming out is hard, but it is meant to be something you do at your own pace when you think it will be safe.

I'm not sure what you mean by "he allegedly outed on this very sub" because the verb is incorrect. If the sub outed him, shame on the person who thought it was their thing to share. If it was Zeke, he probably did it after Varner outed him on GC so it would still be him having to come out in response to someone's horrible action. Either way, it doesn't down play how traumatic and horrible Varner's action was.

No one is saying Zeke is an angel. They are saying he was on the receiving end of a horrible act, one that makes what was said about David look like nothing.
