What are some downsides of being conventionally attractive?

Same. I can be a girly girl for sure, but all of my hobbies are male dominated. A few things that occur are:

-Because I’m a girl, they automatically assume I’m not good at the activity. Maybe I can’t outdo them, but I’m also not the worst out there and can hold my own. Then they try to give me unwarranted “pointers” which is soon proven to not be needed when I actually show them what I’ve got.

-Some guys strangely start getting all “macho” and outdoing me as if I’m challenging their man hood. Nope. I just want to have fun.

-Some guys think I’m just trying to get attention. Again, no, I just want to chill and have fun. You can have all the glory.

There are some activities more than others where guys don’t jump to conclusions because of my gender, but it also depends on the area and who’s around. Just pretend I’m not a guy or a girl, just someone who likes to enjoy a little play time here and there.
